You bug report it on the project's bug tracker website, and it may get fixed soon.

Try google. Often other people have had the same issues and found and posted solutions or workarounds. If it is not the case, file a bug at the project bugtracker.

You can hire any programmer of your choice, because everybody has the right to access and modify the source code of Free/Libre/Open Source software.
